Position OverviewThe Training Specialist is responsible for the logistical and administrative support of training programs across the organization. This role ensures smooth execution of learning initiatives by managing scheduling, systems, reporting, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about enabling employee development through operational excellence.
Position Responsibilities- Coordinate logistics for training sessions including scheduling, room setup, materials preparation, and technology support.
- Maintain and update training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist in the deployment of e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning programs.
- Monitor training attendance, completion rates, and feedback to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with trainers, facilitators, and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of training.
- Support onboarding and compliance training processes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to LMS access, course enrollment, and training delivery.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track training metrics and KPIs.
- Maintain inventory of training materials and supplies.
- Contribute to process improvements in training operations and learner experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in training coordination, HR operations, or administrative support.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, Cornerstone, Success Factors).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or advanced manufacturing environments (e.g., metals, semiconductors, chemicals).
- Familiarity with Medium and High Voltage systems, arc flash hazard mitigation, and electrical safety protocols.
- Certification or training in energy efficiency, Six Sigma, or reliability engineering is a plus.
- Experience conducting energy usage evaluations or implementing demand‑side management solutions.
