Facilitate the development of high-level strategic principles and more detailed Business plans with clear deliverables and timelines and ensuring that ongoing delivery of initiatives continues to meet strategic objectives. Drive alignment across carriers on key sales strategies.
What You'll Do- Deliver competitive analysis to assist with business plan development
- Develop key initiative plan per JB and track progress and success
- Assist with meetings and presentations & senior leadership updates
- Support a wide range of projects that impact the entire Commercial organization and help set the company up for success well into the future for managing our sales partnerships
- Align teams around commercial strategies, key objectives and success metrics, maintaining clear communication across teams, and ensuring cross-functional actions are completed
- Manage overall initiative roadmaps, working with commercial groups to define and track objectives and key results (OKRs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones, while ensuring speed to market
- Collaborate and foster deep relationships with counterparts across the Commercial Org, including Revenue Management, Alliances, Digital & Distribution, Customer Insights & Loyalty, Marketing and AA’s Joint Business and Partner Airlines
- Use data and research to identify opportunities and work with Revenue organization, and make recommendations regarding the optimal way to execute on key strategic initiatives to improve JB performance
- Develop consistent sales performance metrics across all JB’s and ensure regular reviews and action planning is set up
- Independent work ethic, inquisitive nature and history of challenging the status-quo
- Experience collaborating and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured role, work through ambiguous problems and be resilient in the face of criticism and constructive feedback
- Demonstrated ability to take a project from conceptualization through implementation
- Ability to develop and adhere to timelines, manage projects with minimal supervision, and work well in team environment
- Ability to act through intelligent risk taking, innovation and entrepreneurship
- Ability to travel if necessary
- Knowledge of MS Office & very strong presentation skills
- An outstanding team player and cross-cultural knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and spoken
- BA/MBA if possible
