This role is a Subcontract Management Sr. Stf. position.

In this fast‑paced role, you’ll play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our suppliers. Every day will be unique as you tackle shortages, developmental issues, and resolve complex supplier performance issues. You’ll have a lasting impact on our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiation and ensuring on‑time delivery. You’ll serve as a consult to management and provide guidance on team objectives.

Furthermore you will lead activities that include but not limited to:

• preparing requests for proposals
• evaluating subcontractor proposals related to development, production and/or sustainment
• developing cost/price analysis
• negotiating complex internal customer and supplier requirements
• purchase order and contract creation/documentation
• purchase order maintenance
• managing contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands
• conducting cost analysis support
• contract closeout
• understanding procurement activity under the guidance of FARs and DFARS
• communicating across multi‑functions and multi‑level platforms

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Occasional travel could be required.

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Advanced experience in procurement principles, contract management, supply chain management
• Experienced as a mentor or leader
• Established communications experience collaborating cross‑functionally, and building consensus by influencing opinions
• Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Excel, Word, and Power Point

• A Bachelor's Degree with an accredited college or university or 8+ years of related professional experience
• Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customers
• Familiarity with aeronautical procurement quality and manufacturing systems
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring new and emerging talent
• Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
