This position is onsite at our Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX (3255 Bell Flight Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76118) and will support Bell’s Aircraft Product Development Programs.
Supply Chain Contracts Professional, Advanced ProgramsBring your experience, ideas, and passion for aerospace to represent the Advanced Programs Supply Chain team and establish optimal procurement contracts in support of our Advanced Programs projects. This role is an integral part of the team, utilizing your project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to closely partner with key stakeholders to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and experimental aircraft subsystems.
What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Contracts Professional- Evaluate new and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts, preparing, and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs), and facilitating the bid evaluation and down‑selection process.
- Prepare negotiation strategies, conduct contract negotiations, and finalize contract award, with resources such as cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools.
- Manage and execute a sourcing strategy that supports budgets and lead‑times across a diverse supply base to achieve program objectives and meet strict schedules.
- Maintain compliance with all contracting regulations, industry standards, and internal administrative requirements.
- Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internally across Bell’s engineering, manufacturing, finance, and legal teams.
- Assess, maintain, and utilize Bell information management systems for reports, key performance indicators, correspondence, files, presentations, analyses, and contract administration. Up to 10% travel based on business need.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, crucial for identifying project bottlenecks and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Experience in project management with exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting effectively with team members, stakeholders, and business leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment, managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of supply chain management experience in all or some of the following areas:
Contracts, Strategic Sourcing strategy and techniques, financial analysis, cost analysis of commodity, raw materials, etc. - Analytical experience in commodity management, key performance indicators, business cases, profit, and loss.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI.
- Preferred – Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.
- Preferred – DOD / USG Contracts Processes.
- You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule.
