This role is part of the Network Engineering Team within the Revenue Division, developing innovative analytical tools, models, and systems that empower Network Planning, Sales, and other Commercial functions. The role delivers timely, accurate, and actionable market and business insights that guide profit‑maximizing network decisions. You also collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus around technical solutions that address complex business challenges.
WhatYou'll Do
- Drives network capacity decisions through the use of data and develops efficient and operable schedules
- Solves complex network problems by developing innovative, yet pragmatic, solutions for the business
- Drives consensus on capacity decisions working collaboratively with his/her peers inside and outside of Network Planning
- Develops team members to be well‑rounded, strategic and analytical problem solvers
- Presents results and makes recommendations to rest of network planning and to Senior Management, regarding future capacity decisions and market adjustments
- Leverages advanced analytical tools and industry data to forecast demand trends and identify opportunities for network optimization
- Partners with cross‑functional teams to ensure capacity strategies align with commercial goals, operational constraints, and long‑term network vision
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- 5 years experience in airline network planning, revenue management or financial analysis, including extensive quantitative analysis and modeling experience
- N/A
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Knowledge of the airline business, commercial goals and how to translate these into strategic network and fleet plans
- Ability to work collaboratively on large, cross‑departmental projects with multiple and often conflicting objectives
- Ability to be flexible in adapting to new ideas/approaches and ability to drive business process improvement for his/her team and others
- Skills in analytics, including ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Skills in analyst development
- Ability to build, train and coach a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
- Must pass a background reference check and criminal fingerprint check
