The Prosen Center for Business Advancement | Contract

We’re hiring a relationship-first advisor with an active, trusted network inside private equity firms and/or family offices. Your primary job is to connect us directly to the GPs, operating partners, and portfolio operations leads who make decisions about portfolio company leadership and performance initiatives.

If you can call three PE partners this week and get us a first conversation, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

Make warm introductions to GPs, operating partners, and portfolio operations leaders at PE firms and family offices within your existing network

Help us understand each firm's operating model, portfolio support structure, and decision-making process so we engage with precision

Advise on how to position and package our methodology to resonate with how specific firms think about portfolio-level performance

Identify and prioritize the highest-fit firms based on portfolio profile, leadership, investment appetite, and operational focus

Provide ongoing guidance on deal flow,
strategic relationship development , and partnership structure as opportunities develop

Deliver candid feedback on our outreach materials, pitch framing, and positioning from an insider's perspective

Requirements
Who You Are

You bring one or more of the following:

Current or former GP, principal, or senior associate at a private equity firm or family office

Operating partner or senior operating advisor with deep, ongoing relationships at multiple PE firms

Former senior executive at a PE-backed portfolio company who built and maintains strong relationships with the sponsoring firm's deal makers and operations teams

You must also bring:

An active contact list you are willing and able to leverage on our behalf

The credibility to make a warm introduction that gets a meeting, not just a referral to a website

5+ years of direct PE or family office exposure, not adjacent or supporting roles

A track record of facilitating relationships that led to concrete commercial or operational outcomes

High discretion and strong executive communication

Contract role

Remote (U.S. based)

$125–$200/hour commensurate with network depth and demonstrated access
