Overview

The primary role of the Account Executive is responsibility for placement and client management on an assigned book of business, as well as guiding the Service team. If they are responsible for house accounts, they are also accountable for business development and retention for the house book of business. The role is hybrid and requires a minimum of 2 days per week in our Dallas office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage overall service delivery, placement, and business development for an assigned book of business, including retention and growth of house accounts.
  • Develop and execute renewal strategies, including market selection, claims review, gap analysis, coverage specifications, and exposure data evaluation.
  • Lead marketing and negotiation efforts; prepare executive summaries and proposals; coordinate binding of new and renewal coverage.
  • Conduct debriefs on proposals presented to clients and produce clear binding instruction recaps for internal teams.
  • Draft stewardship reports in alignment with client expectations and timelines.
  • Oversee loss control services and claims management activities, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Review client contracts and communicate material program changes with carriers.
  • Serve as primary escalation point for clients and internal teams, ensuring client service expectations are clearly understood and met.
  • Cross‑sell and round out accounts within the assigned house book; support Producers with new business opportunities.
  • Participate in written and oral RFP responses and presentations.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
  • Professional liability (E&O/D&O) experience required.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty business.
  • Strong presentation skills; client trainings are required.
  • Hold Insurance licenses as required by the Company.
