Supply Chain Development & Analytics Manager

Supply Chain Development & Analytics Manager provides comprehensive strategic and analytical oversight, conducting in-depth analyses, synthesizing critical insights, and delivering actionable recommendations to inform high-level decision-making across the Supply Chain function. The role leads cross‑functional project teams in operationalizing business strategies throughout the organization.

• Maintain and implement comprehensive short‑term and long‑term strategies across the Supply Chain organization with special emphasis on AI use case generation and prioritization based on tangible business impact and return on investment.
• Generate and execute actionable insights to drive financial performance through both internal stakeholder collaboration and data analysis and external commodity analysis, competitive intelligence, industry research.
• Develop and present compelling business cases to ensure senior‑level stakeholders understand and act upon the latest recommendations.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses or studies to answer key hypotheses pertaining to near, mid, and long‑term strategic opportunities.
• Spearhead and manage cross‑organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with the Finance function to deliver Supply Chain commitments and provide performance management indicators on effectiveness.
• Accelerate Supply Chain performance by providing recommendations for identified business opportunities and margin expansion.
• Manage supply commodity exposure and opportunities through market research & analysis.
• Support the development and execution of strategies aligned to the Supply Chain financial forecast that results in both short‑ and long‑term accuracy.
• Contribute to risk management efforts ensuring Supply Chain strategy and organizational risk profiles are aligned.

• Coordinate with the broader Supply Chain function on planning, transportation, and inventory management activities to ensure full network integration.
• Enhance departmental processes to improve financial and/or operational performance supporting both new product sales and recycling monetization.
• Provide thought leadership on the development of analytics and reporting metrics to provide real‑time management insights.

Responsible for helping execute against the Supply Chain Annual Operating Plan and 5‑Year Plan. Support forecasting of the Supply Chain Annual Operating Plan. Communicate complex business plans through multiple levels. Build cross‑functional relationships across the enterprise and at all levels, including collaboration with the Supply Chain Senior Leadership team. Utilize and manage resources efficiently to support Supply Chain strategy activities. Exemplify Interstate’s Purpose and Values.

Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods of time. Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with focus in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5‑8 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, finance, data analytics, programming, or related functions.
• Proficiency in AI interfaces, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
• Preference for any additional experience in Python, SAP, Snowflake, Claude Code, other LLM code tools.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem‑solving skills translating data into actionable insights with a path to implementation.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts succinctly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance only on the most complex matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change.
