Position: School Office Manager, Alpha - $75,000/year USD

LOCATION

NOTE:

This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

Alpha operates differently. This role places you front and center throughout the day: welcoming families, resolving device problems, ensuring smooth arrivals, reassuring concerned parents, managing vendor relationships, and creating a campus environment that feels secure, polished, and distinctly Alpha.

This position requires someone who can balance warmth with firmness, maintain organization without relying solely on procedures, and project confidence while staying hands‑on. You will take ownership of nearly all non-instructional operations: family communication, attendance management, campus security, facility oversight, meal coordination, technology support, event execution, and the minor issues that quickly become problems without prompt attention.

You will not be surrounded by a large on-site operations staff. You will receive playbooks, remote assistance, and established guidelines, but you must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, leverage available resources, and exercise sound judgment in real time. In return, you will grow into the trusted figure families recognize, the reliable support Guides depend on, and the approachable adult students turn to when problems need solving.

If you are looking for a high‑visibility school operations position where judgment, communication, service orientation, and accountability are tested daily, submit your application now.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Serve as the primary trusted contact for parents, students, staff, and campus visitors through clear, composed, and responsive communication.
  • Oversee daily campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, lunch management, campus presentation, event support, and facilities maintenance follow-through.
  • Address safety and student wellness matters, including entry control, emergency drills, health situations, record-keeping, and parent communication.
  • Oversee student technology and essential campus systems, including device configuration, account assistance, issue resolution, backup procedures, repair coordination, and escalation to remote technical support.
  • Cultivate trust with Guides, service providers, and families by prioritizing helpfulness while upholding established standards.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Operating from a back office while others manage the parent and student-facing experience.
  • Leading classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing academic curriculum.
  • Waiting for managerial direction before taking action on every matter.
  • Filtering operational decisions through multiple meetings when the campus requires immediate resolution.
  • Delegating facilities, devices, vendor management, or meal services as outside your scope.
