Position: HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will ensure that the needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is available to support planned work.
* You will answer leaders' questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives and provide the needed information or decisions to the leader on issues/problems that arise during execution of work activities.
* You will provide information to product and operations managers on the status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations or issues.
* You will assure that safety practices and requirements are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel and that housekeeping rules and policies are adhered to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
* You will plan work, plan assignments based on schedules, establish deadlines, coordinate work, and determine the number of workers needed to accomplish projects.
* You will be responsible for a wide range of personnel matters concerning subordinates; i.e. performance ratings, leave requests, disciplinary actions, time, attendance and union related paperwork.
* You will inspect the work of other High Voltage electricians, write and review reports and work sequences. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current CDL license.
* You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
