Position: AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANAGER with Security Clearance
Duties
* Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the squadron. Manages assigned maintenance resources and ensures production meets operational requirements and technical standards.
* Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities to include personnel and position management, equal opportunity, security, and safety
* Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Researches and determines or recommends appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that Impact organization, installation, command, or agency. Apprises supervisors of organizational performance and issues requiring higher echelon attention. Requirements Conditions of employment

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes applying knowledge of planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling the activities and operations of the Mission Support Group to include but not limited to logistics planning and readiness, communications, civil engineering, personnel, security forces and services.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
