Action Officer - Level 3

Job Overview

This position will support the Fort Worth Fabrication and Tooling Director as the ‘Action Officer’ responsible for oversight of organizational strategic and tactical planning and execution.

• Manage the operating rhythm, including scheduling, pre‑ and post‑planning activities.
• Bridge functional gaps, building relationships to solve problems and ensure seamless cross‑functional execution.
• Coordinate short‑, medium‑, and long‑term strategy execution for the build team.
• Monitor, support, and index success measures aligned with the organization’s vision and initiatives.
• Assist the Director with time allocation, prioritization, and act as an extension of the Director’s intent.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in creating and interpreting executive‑level presentations and other forms of communication.
• Manufacturing and/or production operations experience.
• Project management and decision‑making experience utilizing business and financial acumen.
• Experience effectively managing budgets.
• Previous experience organizing employee engagement events.

• Experience interpreting, creating, and documenting policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing objectives and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and lines of business.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with a union‑represented workforce.
• Change‑management skills.
• Knowledge of EVMS systems and processes.
• Root‑cause/corrective action experience.
• Technical fabrication knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
