Technical Senior Specialist – Operations Support Center – Dallas, TX
Responsibilities- Review and finalize construction plans; maintain active day‑to‑day involvement with the OSC team.
- Track and resolve field tickets; ensure construction issues are resolved in a timely and complete manner.
- Lead execution risk assessments; develop Plan B solutions and ensure de‑risking process is completed with all required RFIs/ASI’s resolved promptly.
- Maintain a 30‑day runway without RFI delays.
- Monitor daily dashboard for trends that impact the construction plan; diagnose root causes and direct OSC resourcing and subcontractor performance realignment.
- Communicate OSC support for wet‑weather mitigation pre‑planning and its implementation.
- Utilize digital technology to review captured information and solve technical issues affecting the project.
- Track and complete the Day‑1 Startup checklist on NTP day.
- Create and manage a project‑specific submittal log; review and compare submittals, samples, and shop drawings with specifications, clarifications, and drawings; upload and track in Procore and ensure reviews occur within contracted consultant response times.
- Manage the RFI process: maintain an RFI urgency log, draft and submit RFIs, ensure prompt responses from consultancies, distribute RFI responses to relevant subcontractors, and inform the Commercial Lead of any cost implications.
- Ensure AHJ pre‑construction approvals: approve turnover phasing and sequencing, align fire‑inspector startup requirements with phasing and OPC plan, contract 3rd‑party consultation as required, and adopt 3rd‑party inspection plans.
- Support the CO review process: coordinate with the Site Construction Manager to verify change‑order work, manage disputes, and ensure change orders are reviewed, validated, and approved through Procore.
- Represent and advocate for JPI’s culture and guiding principles.
- Physical co‑location 5 days a week (Monday‑Friday).
- Work in close collaboration with the OSC team and Site Construction Manager.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of daily on‑site activities and daily operations.
- Provide regular communication with the Resource Lead on labor availability for project milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3–5 years of business or professional experience, including non‑profit or government roles.
- Proven experience in an executive support or similar role.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project‑management applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Physical ability to perform required job tasks.
