Merchandise Strategy & Execution
Support the development and execution of seasonal merchandising strategies for assigned categories. Assist in building assortments that align with customer trends, brand positioning, and financial objectives. Recommend pricing, promotional, and assortment strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Manage product life cycles from concept through end-of-life.
Business PerformanceAnalyze weekly and seasonal sales, margin, inventory, and customer trends. Identify opportunities to improve assortment performance and inventory productivity. Prepare business recaps and recommendations for Merchant leadership. Monitor key merchandising metrics and respond quickly to changing business conditions.
Product & Assortment ManagementOwn designated product categories within the assortment. Coordinate product setup, item maintenance, pricing, and product information. Ensure merchandise assortments remain current and aligned with customer demand. Support seasonal line reviews and product presentations.
Vendor & Product DevelopmentBuild productive relationships with vendors and supplier partners. Coordinate product samples, timelines, and deliveries. Support negotiations related to product cost, quality, and timing. Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
Customer & Competitive InsightsAnalyze customer purchasing behavior and market trends. Conduct competitive shopping and pricing analysis. Identify opportunities to improve product assortment and customer experience. Recommend new products and category enhancements based on market insights.
Operational ExcellenceEnsure merchandising calendars and milestones are achieved. Maintain accurate merchandising systems and reporting. Support seasonal product launches and promotional events. Prepare presentations and business reviews for leadership.

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
