Scope of PositionThe Product Specialist supports the Senior Product Manager in the day-to‑day execution of the product lifecycle, including consumer insights, product development activities, marketing support, forecasting, Stagegate, and Hansei processes. This role primarily focuses on supporting operational activities and gathering/analyzing data to assist in decision‑making.
This individual will utilize strong analytical and communication skills to support the execution of business unit strategies that contribute to brand loyalty, sales growth, and profitability. Performs other duties as required.
This position reports to the Senior Product Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Fort Worth, TX.
PrimaryJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, tracking, and maintenance of competitive intelligence and market penetration databases
- Assist in managing the stage gate process for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives
- Gather and organize product requirements and contribute to the development of business case materials
- Support customer engagement efforts to collect feedback and identify product development opportunities
- Prepare and maintain NPD scorecards and supporting presentation materials for monthly reviews
- Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into product performance and analytics
- Coordinate with Engineering and Product Development teams to support on‑time and on‑budget product launches
- Assist in developing financial projections and supporting growth plans for new product launches
- Support customer training sessions on product strategy and offerings
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project and product initiatives
- Assist in the creation of product documentation and sales collateral for internal and external use
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Senior Product Manager or Company management.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Less than 2 years of relevant experience in product development, marketing, or brand management, with a foundational understanding of commercial production, sales, and marketing
- Working knowledge of sales channels, including distribution, contractors, end users, and specifying engineers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Access is a plus
- Ability to develop, track, and report on activities and performance to senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills, including problem‑solving, decision‑making, influencing, and change management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre‑employment testing as a condition of employment.

While performing the job duties, you will be working on‑site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Fort Worth, TX location (Monday–Friday).
Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
