The Senior PreK Partnership Data Manager serves as the lead data and performance analyst for prekindergarten partnership functions by providing data analysis, performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement support. This position serves as a strategic analytics resource, helping teams understand performance trends, ensure accurate coding and reporting of data, identify root causes of performance challenges, and implement targeted improvement strategies that strengthen program outcomes.
The role requires strong analytical skills, data visualization expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes through data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct monthly data reviews with PreK Partnership leadership, program staff, and key stakeholders to monitor enrollment, attendance, funding utilization, quality indicators, compliance metrics, and overall program performance. Use these reviews to identify emerging trends, assess progress toward goals, and support timely decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools that provide actionable insights for leadership and program teams. Ensure reporting tools are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with program priorities, funding requirements, and organizational goals.
- Prepare quarterly performance reports that summarize outcomes, identify trends, highlight risks, document progress toward goals, and elevate areas requiring leadership attention. Include clear analysis, supporting data, and recommended next steps to strengthen accountability and continuous improvement.
- Perform root cause analyses to investigate performance gaps, reporting discrepancies, coding errors, enrollment challenges, compliance concerns, and other operational barriers. Partner with appropriate teams to determine contributing factors and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate targeted improvement planning by translating data findings into actionable strategies, milestones, performance improvement plans, and follow-up processes. Monitor progress on improvement efforts and support teams in adjusting strategies as needed.
- Provide technical assistance regarding correct coding of PreK Partnerships, including supporting staff in understanding coding expectations, identifying errors, resolving questions, and strengthening consistency across reporting processes.
- Review data quality, validate reporting accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and implement quality assurance processes to improve the reliability, completeness, and consistency of reported information. Establish routine checks and feedback loops to reduce errors and improve confidence in data reporting.
- Support intermediary functions related to quality assurance, operational support, compliance monitoring, and performance management by coordinating across internal teams and external partners to ensure expectations are clearly understood and consistently implemented.
- Partner with leadership, program staff, finance teams, and operational stakeholders to define reporting needs, clarify data requirements, and develop data solutions aligned with organizational goals, grant requirements, and program strategy.
- Analyze program performance to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and barriers impacting access, participation, service delivery, compliance, and child and family outcomes. Use analysis to inform planning, resource allocation, and program improvement efforts.
- Develop guidance documents, training materials, reporting resources, and standard operating procedures that strengthen staff understanding of PreK Partnership requirements, data expectations, coding practices, reporting timelines, and quality assurance processes.
- Present findings, recommendations, improvement strategies, and progress updates to leadership in a clear and concise manner. Support leadership discussions by explaining data trends, outlining potential risks, and recommending practical next steps.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
