Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year
A bit about us:We are a $100M/year specialized retaining wall subcontractor, based out of the DFW area, within a broader site solutions group, delivering engineered structural retaining systems for residential and commercial developments as well as large-scale commercial projects. Our expertise includes design-assist and self-perform construction of large-scale stone and grout retaining walls, built for strength, durability, and architectural appeal. We are seeking a Safety Specialist in North Texas.
This is a permanent role, not just an assignment.
- $85k – $105k (total comp ~130k) (salary is negotiable for the right candidate)

Join a dynamic team building engineered structural retaining walls with natural stone and reinforced grout systems. This field-based role is ideal for a safety professional eager to make an impact, grow with the company, and help shape a safety culture for a business on track for significant expansion. This is a permanent, long term position.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and enforce site-specific safety plans for retaining wall operations
- Perform daily safety inspections and hazard assessments, focusing on excavation, lifting, and material handling
- Stay alert to potential risks and promptly communicate with the team when safety protocols are not followed
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Help manage Workers’ Compensation claims and ensure timely reporting
- Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions for crews
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and compliance records
- Work closely with GC and other trades to address risks during simultaneous operations
- 2–3 years of construction safety experience, ideally in heavy civil or masonry retaining walls
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices for excavation and material handling
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to elevate safety concerns to senior leadership
- Effective communicator with the ability to train and influence field teams
- Certifications preferred: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, First Aid/CPR
- Familiarity with safety management software and Microsoft Office
