Assistant Project Manager – Commercial General Contractor (K-12)

Fort Worth | DFW-Based Contractor

A well-established Commercial General Contractor headquartered in the DFW area is looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager to support an active K-12 project in Fort Worth.

This is a great opportunity for an APM who wants hands-on exposure to large-scale educational projects and clear progression with a growing contractor.

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project operations
• Assist with scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and document control
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and inspectors
• Help track budgets, change orders, and project costs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Attend project meetings and assist with reporting

• Minimum 2 years of experience working on K-12 construction projects
• Experience with a Commercial General Contractor
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project workflows
• Proficient with project management software (Procore experience preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
