Job Description
A Commercial Superintendent oversees construction projects, managing daily operations, subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations. They coordinate tasks, manage resources, and maintain communication among various parties involved.
Education and Experience- Roofing production supervision experience in shingles, single-ply, sheet metal, and torch-down roofing is required.
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, and smartphone skills are required.
- Subject to passing background & driving record.
- Ability to travel when required throughout Texas.
- High-school diploma or equivalent.

- Commercial roofing experience is required for consideration.
- Monitor multiple projects with respect to current status, time, and materials.
- Visit job sites daily, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Conduct or participate in daily quality and safety audits.
- Implement practices for roofing installation, leak investigation, and repairs by fully participating in on-the-job training as well as periodic manufacturer training.
- Ensure crews are adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Know and stay abreast of design requirements, codes, and materials.
- Track multiple ongoing jobs on CRM & Project Management software.
- Work directly with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Study methods of improving work measurements and performance standards.
- Field installation of various roof systems, materials, construction processes, and theories.
- Provide leadership to the roofing crew in efficient and professional roof installation.
- Subject expert in solving technical field application problems, repairs, and leak investigation.
- Ability to identify, correct, and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.
- Must have good communication skills, both with customers and coworkers, oral and written.
- Knowledge to inspect and ensure attention to detail and quality.
- Able to understand complex problems and make decisions to benefit everyone as much as possible.
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
- The candidate must be able to travel as needed, approximately 10-20% of the time.
Preferred:
- 5 years roofing production supervision experience.
- Bilingual fluency (English/ Spanish).
- Experience with Acculynx and Procore.
