Job Overview
Dyna Ten, a Comfort Systems USA Company, is seeking a Project Executive to join our Construction team. The Project Executive will lead a team of Project Managers, oversee multiple commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects, and ensure delivery of high‑quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Lead teams of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
- Oversee commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects, ensuring construction follows design specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Review project plans and specifications; build project schedules; recommend cost‑saving measures and identify potential construction problems.
- Prepare job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings.
- Coordinate with general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors on project schedules, RFIs, and change orders.
- Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials, ensuring delivery aligns with project schedules.
- Coordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs and adjust resources as required.
- Conduct and attend pre‑construction and post‑construction meetings.
- Manage multiple projects of varying scope simultaneously.
- Maintain continuous communication with office personnel, GC, owners, and others as needed.
- Complete all required documentation electronically.
- Oversee and continuously monitor site safety for all personnel.
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Focus on safety and model best safety practices for team members.
- Serve as a direct customer contact and positively represent the Dyna Ten brand.
- Provide annual employee performance feedback to team members.
- 10+ years of experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects (including healthcare, medical gas, educational, institutional, military, etc.).
- Experience managing projects ranging in size and scope with a minimum contract value of $20M.
- Proven experience leading direct reports.
- Familiarity with project cost to complete, project financials, and project close‑outs.
- OSHA 10‑Hour and OSHA 30‑Hour certification required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Significant aptitude for construction.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, self‑motivation.
- Ability to work as both an individual contributor and a team player.
