Job Description
- Lead all field operations from mobilization through closeout
- Develop, manage, and actively update the project schedule (look-ahead schedules, phasing plans, milestone tracking)
- Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with K-12, municipal, and public works standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Enforce site safety programs and conduct regular safety meetings
- Coordinate inspections with AHJs, school districts, and municipal agencies
- Maintain quality control and ensure work conforms to plans and specifications
- Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinate follow-up actions
- Work closely with the Project Manager on schedule recovery, logistics, and phasing
- Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower tracking, and site documentation

The Successful Applicant
- Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
- Strong K-12, municipal, or public-sector project experience is required
- Proven experience building and owning the project schedule (not just tracking it)
- Experience with occupied campuses, phased construction, or public facilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, means and methods
- Proficiency with Procore and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
- OSHA 30 preferred
- K-12 schools (new construction, additions, renovations)
- Municipal buildings and public facilities
- Libraries, civic centers, and public infrastructure-adjacent work
- Consistent pipeline of public-sector projects
- Strong operational support and experienced leadership
- Emphasis on planning, scheduling, and field execution
