Job Details

• Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up and interior renovation projects ranging from $100K-$20M.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and pricing.
• Develop quantity takeoffs, analyze subcontractor bids, and create comprehensive proposals.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and architects during preconstruction.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency and project performance.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate pricing and strong coverage.
• Manage bid schedules and ensure timely delivery of proposals.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in estimating retail and/or commercial construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage estimates across multiple concurrent bids.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with national accounts or multi-site retail projects is a plus.
