Our client is a commercial construction company specializing in ground‑up building projects, with a growing focus on healthcare facilities. They operate across multiple markets and are known for combining hands‑on field expertise with modern, digital‑first project management.
Job DescriptionThe Healthcare Construction Superintendent will oversee day‑to‑day field operations on ground‑up commercial construction projects, with an emphasis on healthcare facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are built safely, on schedule, and in line with constructability best practices.
Duties And Responsibilities- Oversee daily field operations on ground‑up commercial construction projects, including healthcare facilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project schedule and quality standards
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of constructability and sequencing throughout each phase of the project
- Manage and update project schedules, identifying and resolving potential delays proactively
- Ensure jobsite safety standards are upheld at all times
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions clearly with project managers and stakeholders
- Utilize digital tools and software for documentation, reporting, and project tracking
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by remaining open to new tools, processes, and feedback
- 4–8 years of experience in ground‑up commercial construction (not solely interior finish‑out or multifamily)
- Strong understanding of constructability and project scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and jobsite operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a digital‑only work environment (tablet/software‑based documentation, plans, and reporting)
- Willingness to learn new processes and tools, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Experience specifically in healthcare construction
- Familiarity with construction management software and digital project tracking tools
- Base Salary: $90,000–$125,000
- 401(k) with 4% match (after 1 year)
- 3 weeks PTO

- Truck allowance: $600/month
