About the Company

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring homes are built safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to established quality standards. This role coordinates subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day construction activities for multiple residential homes throughout the building process.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day construction activities for multiple residential homes throughout the building process.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs through effective resource management.
  • Review construction plans, specifications, and change orders to ensure accurate execution.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, and conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Coordinate inspections and obtain required approvals from local authorities.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, customer expectations, and contractual requirements.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and home buyers as required.
  • Promote and enforce a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Manage warranty and post-construction issues when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of residential construction management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of residential building practices, construction methods, and local building codes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and trade partners.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.
