Job Summary
Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a traveling Scheduling Engineer to join our team. The role requires at least 5 years of experience with planning and scheduling of construction projects and a strong background in commercial real estate design‑build projects.
Responsibilities- Assist and grow regional field teams using Ryan’s scheduling standard practices.
- Assist project teams during the proposal stage by creating and/or reviewing schedules.
- Facilitate collaborative preconstruction planning sessions with Ryan project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders.
- Work cooperatively with Data Analytics team to track and monitor schedule health across operations.
- Display leadership qualities and set a good example of behaviour.
- Act as a resource to project construction teams and collaborate with Developers, Designers, Pre‑Construction, Project Managers, and Field Managers.
- Travel for projects as needed throughout the year (up to 50%).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling and planning systems, fluent with MS Project and familiar with Primavera (P6) or 4D scheduling software.
- Understanding of field operations and building construction techniques.
- Excellent oral and communication skills in individual and group settings.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
