Senior Estimator

A reputable Commercial General Contractor in Fort Worth is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team. • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, bids, and proposals.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors throughout the preconstruction process.
• Maintain current knowledge of labor, material, and market pricing trends.

• 2–5 years of estimating experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Experience working on commercial projects within Education, Industrial, Office, Municipal, or similar sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Stable employment history and a desire to grow within a long-term opportunity.

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience estimating projects ranging from $1M to $25M.
• Familiarity with the North Texas construction market.
