Commercial Construction Estimator

We're working with a growing construction company looking to add a Commercial Estimator to their team. This role is ideal for someone who's experienced in commercial construction and enjoys working closely with preconstruction and project teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate coverage.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit subcontractor/supplier pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support bids, proposals, and budget development.
• Maintain historical cost data and market pricing trends.

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, or similar).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in office in a collaborative setting.
• Experience with mixed-use, retail, or office projects is a plus.
