Experience:
Content is the heart of everything we do. We have revolutionized the agency model to meet the modern need for agile, dynamic content creation. As part of the Agency Habitat and Lowtown Studios team, the Content Creation Intern will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and posting content for various clients across social media platforms, in addition to reporting on performance analytics and learning how to provide strategic recommendations to optimize.
The Content Creation Intern may have the opportunity to connect with our art directors, photographers, videographers, set stylists and animators to help produce content that is on brand and on strategy without creative compromise. It’s crucial for this role to stay up to date on social, cultural, competitive and industry trends and their impact on our clients and consumer behavior.
- Shoot and edit social content informed by the latest industry best practices and trends
- Work with internal creative teams to cast, script and perform in short-form video content
- Create engaging and captivating on-screen copy as well as captions that capture the tone and voice of each client
- Identify trends, sounds and UGC that will enhance the brands’ stories and resonate with their target audiences
- Utilize social scheduling platforms to ensure a timely and consistent posting cadence
- Monitor post performance utilizing real-time data dashboards and reporting tools
- Be able to conduct your own research and understand each client in order to bring ideas and thoughts to month content brains
- Work with internal teams to identify creative testing and optimization opportunities within accounts
- Continuously monitor overall trends and developments across social platforms
- Stay up to date on cultural conversations and content trends
- Assist with and perform additional tasks as assigned
- Proficiency with shooting and editing natively on iPhone
- Knowledge of Cap Cut
- Ability to work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary creatives and content creators
- Proficiency utilizing social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Twitter, You Tube, Facebook, etc.)
- Confident on-screen presence and personality
- Knowledge and understanding of the basics in performance marketing
- Willingness to learn keyword strategy to optimize in-video SEO
- Strong QA abilities, with an eye for detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to report raw analytical data to your manager and assist in identifying trends/insights
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstration of a flexible and adaptable work style
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Proactive mindset
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Advertising/PR, RTVF, or related fields) preferred
- Work experience: Around 2+ years working in content creation for social media; agency experience a plus
- Work requirements: Minimum of 24-29 hours per week in our office @ $12/hour. This role requires skill in front of and behind the camera. Please note, there is a potential for occasional schedule modifications outside of the normal 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. workday, particularly during agency events or special projects. Flexibility in scheduling and ability to travel when needed is essential.
