CBS Texas is looking for a Brand Content Producer who can go beyond promoting the news to develop content that makes people stop and care. This is not a role for people hoping to recycle TV content; you will be expected to think like a storyteller and understand how our brand fits into every platform.

You'll work alongside newsroom journalists to find the most human part of every story and build content around it. Content is expected to be clear, authentic, and often unscripted. You will be responsible for populating all station platforms with content.

Our Brand Content Producer writes, produces, and edits brand-aligned, daily marketing messages and reports to the Promotions Manager who executes daily brand strategy defined by the Director of Multiplatform Marketing. You will be expected to attend and contribute to weekly story meetings, brainstorms, and team huddles; turn newsroom moments into external marketing content; and write, produce, and edit for all screens.

As a member of the Marketing team, you will attend station promotions and brand activations at events across the region, some of which happen during weekends.

• A strong communicator with at least two years of broadcast or agency experience.

• Someone who knows the difference between info and impact.
• A collaborator who brings energy into a room and ideas into the work.
• Someone with excellent writing skills who understands brand standards.
• Someone who shuns the cliché and seeks something original.
• A creative who understands how to communicate clearly to an audience.
• Someone who can collaborate on client productions alongside talent.
• A storyteller who understands narrative structures, parts of a story, and visual language.
• A Bachelor's in Communications, TV Broadcast, or Marketing is preferred.

• Adobe Creative Cloud (Fluency in Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Studio and field production skills (grip, cameras, lights, audio, talent)
• Cinematic production gear (Sony FX3, Sony FX30, Black Magic Ursa, sometimes phones)
• Still cameras (Sony, Canon)
