Motion Recruitment is seeking a UX Product Designer for a hybrid contract role in Fort Worth, TX (Mid-Cities area). This position starts as an initial 4-month W2 engagement with benefits and the possibility of extension, supporting end-to-end UX and product design for an internal platform.
Role OverviewIn this hybrid role, you will own UX and product design for internal applications and experiences. Work will include defining interface and interaction patterns across mobile and web, building design concepts from research inputs, and coordinating feedback across Product and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities- Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of internal applications and experiences across mobile and web, aligning with design standards and existing design systems.
- Create conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes using insights from heuristic reviews, user interviews, and remote unmoderated in-person testing.
- Build research strategies tied to desired outcomes, and develop usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes.
- Collect, analyze, and present feedback, then apply it to manage changes to UX deliverables across Product and Engineering teams.
- 3+ years of end-to-end UX, Product, HCI, or Interaction Design experience.
- Strong proficiency with Figma
, Fig Jam
, and the Adobe Creative Suite
. - Experience partnering directly with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data, A/B tests, and analysis to implement design solutions.
- Creative online portfolio required to showcase strengths.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Understanding of HTML
, CSS
, Java Script , and/or other frontend development languages. - Experience with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, localization, and inclusive design practices.
- Experience using AI tools to streamline design workflows.
This is a hybrid role with onsite work 3x a week in Fort Worth, TX (Mid-Cities area).
