Description
The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for being the first point when an agent has a complex situation that requires a more advanced level of troubleshooting. You are expected to resolve ALL issues quickly, effectively and with the utmost of importance and respect. You serve as a role model to the Specialists with regards to work ethic, attendance, and knowledge. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will step in and make decisions when your Supervisor is not available or on vacation.
Qualifications- 1 – 3 years in a high-volume Customer Contact Centre
- Previous work experience where you worked in person with customers
- Knowledge of Provincial and Federal tax exemption regulations
- Experience using computers, and being able to learn to use new technology and software
- Excellent keyboarding skills for data entry
- A commitment to providing fantastic customer service
- Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations
- A friendly, outgoing, patient personality
- Computer literate, familiar with browsers, and phone system
- Responsible for providing website navigation for all brands in searching equipment, auction results, dates/times of auctions
- Ensure that superior customer service is delivered at all times to customers and be able to collaborate with internal departments successfully as a team player
- Educate and assist customers in setting up accounts, bidding limits, and registration
- Assist customers in scheduling pickups for all non-Gov Planet brands
- Works closely with the operations team of inspectors and equipment specialists to assist with Vin verification procedures
- Process registerable assets for sales
- Register bidders/process payments from successful bidders/provide customers with information about auxiliary services
- Provide administrative support as needed by the Customer Service Manager. Assist with processing purchase orders.
- Support customers during the auction registration process for both online and in-person bidding, as well as having the ability to explain how bidding and unreserved auctions work.
- Resolve issues and track interactions relating to customer accounts.
- Provide information related to past and upcoming auctions and equipment
- Aid in training new and current staff on various procedures.
- Advise customers how to bid and understand the bidding process in all brands
- Perform other duties as assigned
