Location: Fort Worth, University of North Texas – Health Science Center
Salary: Commensurate with experience, minimum $50,000 per year

Position OverviewThe Enrollment Services Specialist facilitates admissions and registration issues for students and faculty, focuses on problem‑solving to help applicants overcome challenges during the admissions process, and travels statewide and beyond for recruitment fairs that attract students suitable for multiple UNT Health colleges and programs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of related recruitment experience and events management experience.
- Previous experience in higher education.
- Previous experience recruiting at the graduate/professional level.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel locally and throughout Texas for recruitment and training purposes.
- Ability to work occasional weekends (Saturday).
- Ability to report to work early.
- Ability to fly on a commercial airline.
- Ability to project and plan travel expenses.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as applicant volume, conversion rates, and time‑to‑fill, and adjust recruitment strategies as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as high school counselors, community groups, and alumni, to promote the program and attract potential candidates.
- Demonstrate initiative in enhancing recruitment strategies for assigned programs.
- Host college preview events, coordinate and conduct tours for prospective residents.
- Maintain computerized records of prospects and contacts and produce timely reports using the database.
- Respond to inquiries or requests from prospects.
- Communicate with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Performing sedentary work primarily involving sitting/standing.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or relocating from one worksite to another.
- Repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Work ScheduleMonday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends for divisional events.
