Founded in 1983 by lifelong hot rodder Gary Meadors, the organization showcases thousands of colorful hot rods and custom vehicles at venues such as fairgrounds, super speedways, and large outdoor stadiums. Each event combines cars, vendor exhibits, live entertainment, and a vibrant community to create a high-energy, festival-like atmosphere.

Goodguys hosts over 20 events annually across the United States, ranging from two-day shows drawing tens of thousands of attendees to multi-day extravaganzas attracting more than 100,000 auto fans. Team members join a culture built around passion for cars, customer experience, and large-scale event production.

Role Description

The Ticketing and Registration Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX, responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticketing and attendee registration for Goodguys events. This role manages pre-event and on-site ticket sales processes, including online platforms, box office operations, and registration desks, ensuring accurate transactions and smooth customer flow. The manager supervises ticketing staff, sets operational procedures, and coordinates with event operations, marketing, and finance to align ticketing strategies with attendance goals and reporting needs.

Daily tasks include monitoring sales, resolving customer issues, maintaining reservation records, preparing event credentials, and generating reports on ticket revenue and attendance. The role also focuses on improving the guest experience by refining ticket packages, streamlining check-in processes, and implementing best practices for large-scale event entry and registration.

Qualifications
  • Strong ticketing and sales skills, including Ticket Sales and Sales experience for high-volume events.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities, with proven Customer Service and Reservations skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with attendees, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience managing or coordinating ticketing operations, registration processes, or box office functions for events or venues.
  • Proficiency with ticketing and registration software, basic CRM tools, and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during event periods.
  • Prior experience in live events, hospitality, sports, or entertainment environments is highly beneficial; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field is a plus.
