Department SummaryThe UNT Health Fort Worth Pediatric Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and family-centered care for children from infancy to 18 years of age. As part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, our clinic combines high-quality medical care with academic excellence, research, and community engagement.
Position OverviewThis position is for primary care pediatric practice, birth to 18 years of age to keep pace with renewed growing clinical practice. Work is part-time with clinical and academic responsibilities with patients and medical students.
Minimum Qualifications- MD/DO Degree
Skills And Abilities
- Patient care in an outpatient setting for patients newborn to 18 years of age.
- Board certified/Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Experience in medical student training or interest in pursuing academic medicine.
- MD/DO Degree with Texas Medical License
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.
- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
- Lifting and Moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
