Harris Southwest Dental – Full-Time Position

We are actively seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. Join a team that values teamwork and patient care, and help us create more smiles.

• Provide independent clinical care as an integral member of the patient care team.
• Deliver thorough patient education and preventive care during each visit.
• Document patient histories and clinical procedures in the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in hygiene mentor program and attend virtual training sessions as required.

• Current dental hygienist license in Texas.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall dental health maintenance.
• Experience meeting clinical needs as required by office.

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
