Brident Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a General Dentist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive general dental care, including exams, restorations, preventive treatments, and basic pediatric and orthodontic-related procedures. You'll collaborate closely with hygienists and specialists, leverage advanced dental technology, and maintain accurate clinical records. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive oral examinations, diagnose dental and oral health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide a broad range of general dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, preventative care, basic endodontics, and prosthodontic services within scope of training
  • Review medical histories, assess patient risk factors, and ensure appropriate precautions and medical consults when needed
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, preventive care, and oral hygiene practices, ensuring clear and empathetic communication
  • Obtain informed consent and thoroughly document all findings, diagnoses, treatments, and recommendations in the electronic dental record
  • Collaborate closely with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
  • Coordinate care and referrals with in-house pediatric and orthodontic providers and external specialists when clinically indicated
  • Adhere to strict infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols, complying with all regulatory and practice standards
  • Utilize advanced dental technology and digital radiography to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Participate in ongoing training, clinical meetings, and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills
  • Support practice goals related to access, affordability, patient satisfaction, and quality outcomes

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive oral examination and diagnosis
  • Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges)
  • Simple and surgical extractions within scope of training
  • Preventive dentistry and periodontal maintenance planning
  • Basic endodontic therapy on select cases
  • Prosthodontics (removable and fixed, within general practice scope)

  • Use of digital radiography and electronic dental records
  • Local anesthesia and pain management
