Senior Drafter/Designer
As a Senior Drafter/Designer, you will translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans, utilizing Autodesk Inventor software with Vault Library. This role demands a high level of proficiency in Inventor and CAD, a strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities- Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and plans, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings based on design specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design concepts, address design challenges, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Review and modify existing drawings, revising and updating them based on feedback to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the final documents.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, adhering to industry standards and relevant regulations in all drafting work.
- Mentor and guide junior drafters, providing technical guidance and support while sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring all drawings, files, and revisions are accurately stored and readily accessible.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a drafter, detailer, and 3D modeler.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit is a plus.
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating precise and error-free drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Inventor CAD Software.
- Technical drawing and blueprint reading.
- 3D modeling and visualization.

- Experience designing products for the fixture and modular wall industry is a plus.
Office environment with normal daytime hours. Flexible onsite/WFH hybrid schedules may be considered if needed.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
