Overview
Gensler is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Dallas, Texas office. The role involves delivering design solutions that combine creativity, technology, and business insight for a range of projects.
Responsibilities- Perform interior design assignments covering client programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
- Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
- Provide design support and documentation during the completion and execution of design concepts.
- Collaborate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related accredited program.
- 3–5 years of interior design experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.
- Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverables.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects at various stages of development.
- Strong communication skills to convey design ideas and direction quickly.
- Self‑starting, intelligent, dedicated, and efficient work ethic.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
