Registered Architect
We are seeking a Registered Architect for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance position for a high end custom residential firm in their Fort Worth, TX office.
Ideal candidate will be a Registered Architect in Texas with 10-15 years of experience, understands residential and commercial code, and experienced with Feasibility Studies for potential clients.
This role can have some hybrid/WFH ability for the right candidate but will require working in the office in Fort Worth.
Responsibilities- Perform Feasibility Studies for potential clients
- Stamp Architectural final drawings as a Registered Architect.
- Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of Quality Assurance standards to improve quality and timely delivery of projects
- Compile, manage, and maintain Quality Control documents for use during the project and for archiving upon completion of the project
- Provide Quality Control by reviewing Construction Documents for errors and omissions
- Provide overall review of Construction Documents including implementing standards and checklists; reviewing for code compliance and constructability; providing red-lines; interactively following up and approving red-line correction; and providing advice to improve the quality of the Construction Documents
- Interface and provide guidance to staff to ensure that the design fulfills requirements
- Provide leadership on Construction Documentation
- Be a key participant within the studio environment advancing shared knowledge and professional development
- Provide mentoring for staff and cultivate environment of shared knowledge and learning
- 10-15 years of experience in the entire design process, from inception through contract administration, with a focus on construction document phase of production projects
- Professional registration required
- Proven experience mentoring and developing junior architecture staff
- A thorough understanding of industry codes, regulations and standards for residential and commercial projects.
- Degree in architecture from an accredited program
- Ability to introduce efficiencies and modern techniques to existing processes
- Strong communication, management, and mentoring skills
- Experience in Bluebeam Studio is highly preferred
- Experience in Archicad and/or Revit
- Must have architecture experience with projects in the USA.
- Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or current Employment Authorization Document Holder with NO visa sponsor ships required now or in the future.
