Senior Electrical Designer

We are actively seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to support shop drawing and BIM models using Auto Desk CAD/BIM tools to support coordination, clash resolution, and procurement deliverables for commercial construction projects.

This is an onsite position in Fort Worth, TX.

• Build 3D electrical models using field layouts in AutoCAD MEP/Revit and Navisworks
• Perform BIM coordination, including clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage
• Upload models and follow general contractor-led BIM coordination processes through model sign-off
• Coordinate with BIM manager on BIM budget tracking and management (Senior level)
• Mentor and train virtual designers and detailers
• Collaborate with operations teams, general contractors, and MEP trade partners during coordination
• Coordinate with engineering during model creation for design/build projects
• Develop and maintain CAD/BIM templates, details, and graphic standards
• Produce bills of materials for procurement and labor tracking

• High school diploma or GED
• 10–20 years of computer-aided drafting experience in commercial construction (5+ years for Senior Virtual Designer level)
• Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD MEP
• Proficiency with Revit
• Ability to use Navisworks (including viewing/extracting BIM information and coordination workflows; ACC platform exposure for design coordination)
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet project schedules

• Electrical construction drafting experience
• National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge (required for Senior Virtual Designer)
• Electrical field experience and/or Electrical Theory degree (required for Senior Virtual Designer)
