Design Assistant

Overview

We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our lead designer in a fast-paced luxury residential design and construction environment.

This is a support role—not a lead designer position. While you ll have opportunities to contribute creatively through mood boards and presentations, your primary responsibility will be keeping projects, selections, and the design studio organized and running efficiently.

• Support the lead designer with day-to-day project needs
• Organize and maintain the design showroom and sample library
• Order, receive, label, and return design samples
• Create mood boards and presentation materials as directed
• Maintain all client selections in our project management software, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
• Organize project files, specifications, and digital documents
• Enter and maintain project data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate with vendors regarding samples and product information
• Assist with installations and other project-related tasks as needed
• Provide general administrative support to keep projects moving smoothly

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Creative eye with an interest in interior design
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch Up is a plus
• Interest in residential construction or custom homes is a plus

You appreciate great design, but your greatest strength is helping projects stay organized and on track.

This is a full-time, in-person position with the opportunity to grow alongside a luxury residential design and construction team.
