Procurement & Associate Designer

Full-Time | On-Site | Fort Worth, Texas | Semmelmann Interiors

At Semmelmann Interiors, we're more than a nationally recognized luxury residential interior design firm—we're a Christian-founded company that believes our work is a calling to serve others through creativity, excellence, generosity, and integrity.

We're looking for a design-trained, procurement-minded Associate Designer who loves beautiful design but is equally energized by the details required to bring that design successfully to life.

If you love furnishings, fabrics, lighting, rugs, finishes, and beautiful spaces—but you also love procurement, pricing, numbers, specifications, organization, accuracy, problem-solving, and getting things across the finish line
—we want to meet you.

This is a true design position with a strong emphasis on procurement and project execution.

You'll work alongside our Designers on selections, presentations, client preparation, product research, and design development while taking significant ownership of the detailed work required to move projects successfully into Procurement.

We want someone who doesn't wait for a list of tasks.

You take ownership. You ask questions. You follow through. You solve problems. And you get things done.

ABOUT

THE ROLE

As our Procurement & Associate Designer, you will serve as an important bridge between our Design and Procurement teams.

You'll assist Designers in developing and executing the creative vision while taking primary responsibility for ensuring project portfolios are complete, accurately priced, thoroughly specified, organized, and procurement-ready.

A Designer may establish the vision—but before hundreds of individual items can be ordered, every specification, dimension, finish, fabric, quantity, price, vendor, and detail must be correct.

That's where you come in.

You'll help make selections, research products, work with fabrics and furnishings, create presentations, and prepare for client meetings.

But you'll also dig into the numbers.

You'll verify pricing. Check quantities. Confirm specifications. Identify what's missing. Research alternatives. Solve problems. And drive the project forward until it is ready to purchase and execute.

When a furnishing is discontinued, a fabric becomes unavailable, or a fixture is backordered, you won't simply report the problem—you'll help find the solution.
