CAD Drafter

We are partnering with our client in a search for a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support the design and development of custom residential homes. This role will work closely with design consultants, project teams, and leadership to create accurate construction drawings and transform custom home concepts into buildable plans.

• Create detailed residential CAD drawings from existing plans, markups, verbal instructions, and client requirements.
• Develop and modify construction documents to support custom home projects.
• Review, revise, and correct construction sketches and design details as needed.
• Maintain project files and ensure drawing accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with home specialists, design consultants, operations teams, sales leadership, and the CAD Manager.
• Assist in translating custom home concepts into detailed plans that support construction execution.
• Utilize blueprints, construction drawings, and 3D CAD models to develop and update home designs.

• Proficiency with CAD software required.
• Experience with Soft Plan and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Residential construction, homebuilding, architectural drafting, or related design experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
