Currently seeking a full‑time Traveling Interventional Pain Physician to join an established outpatient pain management team with a personal injury–focused practice. This employed role provides coverage when pain management physicians are out of office and supports multiple clinic locations throughout Texas. The position emphasizes interventional pain procedures, follow‑up care, and flexible hybrid scheduling with telehealth opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits for the Traveling Interventional Pain Physician

$500,000 – $550,000 annual compensation

Travel fully covered, including:

Responsibilities of the Traveling Interventional Pain Physician
  • Provide clinic coverage when primary pain management physicians are out of office.
  • Travel to clinics throughout Texas up to 4 days per week.
  • Perform interventional pain management procedures and injections.
  • Conduct follow‑up appointments, including telehealth visits when appropriate.
  • Evaluate and manage personal injury and musculoskeletal pain patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as clinically indicated.
  • Complete notes, charting, and patient follow‑ups on non‑travel days.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and support staff.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures, and treatment options.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements of the Traveling Interventional Pain Physician
  • MD or DO
  • Actively licensed physician in good standing in the State of Texas
  • DEA certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred
  • Experience with interventional pain procedures required
  • Ability to travel statewide with a flexible schedule
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Spanish language skills a plus, but not required
