Optometrist / Ophthalmologist – Independent Medical Evaluations
Independent Contractor | Fee-for-Service | Onsite (TX)
The IMA Group is seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct independent, non-treatment eye exams focused on vision loss and visual impairment evaluations.
Schedule:- 1 full day per month or 2 half days per month
- Extremely flexible, evaluation-only work
Fort Worth, Granbury, Weatherford, Arlington, Burleson, Cleburne, Mansfield, or Midlothian (Independent office setting)
Responsibilities:- Perform vision loss and impairment evaluations
- Conduct visual acuity, visual field testing, and automated perimetry
- Review medical records and complete clear, timely medical reports
- No treating, prescribing, call, or follow-up
- Per-evaluation / fee-for-service compensation
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Paid training
- Mission-driven work supporting veterans and underserved populations
- OD, MD, or DO (Ophthalmology)
- Active, unrestricted Texas license
- Board certification preferred
