Department SummaryAs the clinical practice group of UNTHSC Fort Worth, we provide comprehensive primary and multispecialty care. Our reach extends across Fort Worth, Denton, and Dallas, delivering expert care through our clinics, in-home visits, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
We utilize interprofessional teams, where physicians, advanced practice practitioners, therapists, pharmacists, and specialized staff work collaboratively.
We intentionally integrate healthcare students, residents, and fellows into care delivery at select practice locations, fostering the development of future health professionals while optimizing patient care delivery.
The University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC), HSC Health is seeking a fulltime physician to provide care within the HSC Health Performing Arts Medicine clinic.
Minimum Qualifications- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensed to practice medicine in another state or have completed at least two years of postgraduate residency (not limited to the United States).
- Passed the Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination.
Skills and Abilities
- Licensed to practice medicine in another state or have completed at least two years of postgraduate residency (not limited to the United States). Passed the Texas Medical Jurisprudence Examination.
- Ability to practice medicine within the scope of license, training and credentials.
- Ability to care for a diverse patient population.
- Applicant must be able to provide clinical care in accordance with their completed residency training.
- Must be able to perform common medical procedures associated with that scope of practice.
- The applicant must be able to work independently on scholarly projects and complete educational assignments as indicated through their curriculum.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas or another state and have completed a post‑graduate residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Texas Medical Board unrestricted medical license.
- Medical care to patients with various medical conditions. Examine, diagnose, develop and review treatment plans, ongoing care, order and review additional tests as needed to treat medical patients of all ages.
- Perform medical procedures in accordance with standards of care and training, including osteopathic manipulative treatment.
- Timely documentation care provided within an electronic health record. Coordinate and integrate care across all elements of the healthcare system.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
- Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
