Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant
- First Assist to join our Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position supporting advanced heart and vascular care, with a primary focus on assisting in the OR, including vein harvesting and other surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate must have prior operating room experience , preferably with vein harvesting , and a strong interest in cardiology and vascular surgery. You will play a vital role in delivering minimally invasive treatments and surgical therapies in a high-volume, collaborative, and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:- First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
- Perform vein harvesting procedures
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Support inpatient and outpatient care, patient education, and follow-up
- Participate in clinical rounds and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION
- Grad of an Accredited Program - EXPERIENCE
- More than 1 year of experience in vein harvesting. - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- Physician Assistants (PA) - Basic Life Support (BLS):
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
