  • $100,000 annual salary, paid weekly. Health, dental, and vision benefits begin day one.

Your role: create and facilitate focused, high-impact reading workshops that produce measurable gains in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support us in scaling that approach to campuses nationwide.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating focused, high-impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency.
  • Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks.
  • Reviewing student performance data to improve teaching methods and generate actionable insights.
  • Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes.
  • Building scalable, AI-supported content that helps early elementary learners reach grade-level reading proficiency.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curriculum—students master academic content through AI-adaptive applications.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students.
  • Capable of assessing reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-written curricula.
  • Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within them.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses:
    Phoenix, AZ;
    Austin, TX;
    Fort Worth, TX;
    Plano, TX;
    Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. It is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
