* Job Summary:

*** Assistant Professor of Clarinet (Tenure-Track).
** Work Performed:
*** Teaching Clarinet at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
* Actively recruit clarinet students.
* Meet school, college and university standards in instructional responsibilities, intellectual and creative contributions, and professional service.
* Teach related courses as needed to meet faculty load requirements.
* Rehearse and perform with the faculty woodwind quintet.
* Serve as requested on school, college, and university committees and in leadership positions in community and professional organizations.
** Necessary

Qualifications:

*** Doctorate level in Clarinet performance.
* Professional-level competency as clarinetist.
* Evidence of successful recruiting and teaching.
* The ability to creatively engage students in the studio.
* Active participation in professional organizations.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** At least two years of previous college-level teaching are preferred.
