Early Childhood5 Day Assistant
Job Description
As an Early Childhood5 Day Assistant at All Saints' Episcopal School, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support to ourearly childhood students and educators.
Yournurturing and engaging approach, along with your dedication to creating a positive learning environment, will ensure that our youngest learners havea strong foundation for their educational journey.
- Assist the Leadteacher in preparing and delivering developmentally appropriate lessonsand activities.
- Support the implementation of the curriculum, helping students withtasks,activities,and projects.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation.
- Provide individualized support to students as needed, including help with tasks, social interactions, and emotional well-being.
- Encourage early literacy, numeracy, and social skills development amongststudents.
- Assistin managing and organizing classroom materials and resources.
- Helpmaintaina well-organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Reinforce classroom rules and promote responsible behavior.
- Assist with supervising students during class, recess, and other activities.
- Attendparent-teacher conference sand provide feedback.
- Attend divisional meetings, professional development and school required In-Service.
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing and supportive care to young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills with a gentle and caring approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needsofyoungstudents
